**Flight Plan B** PLAN B

Try these in order

1. 1Same airline, later flight
2. 2Nearby airport + drive

Example. Yours is built from your trip.

## My flight was cancelled. What do I do first?

1. Open your airline's app first. It often rebooks you by itself.
2. If the new flight is too late for you, ask for another one now, in the app, by phone and at the desk at once. Seats are limited and go to whoever asks first.
3. Checked a bag? Ask the agent to move it to the new flight and read you the new tag number.
4. Stuck overnight? Ask what your airline has committed to when the problem is its own fault. The agent decides.

Rather not fly? The free [airline rights cheat sheet](https://flightplanb.com/rights-cheat-sheet) has the federal refund rules.

Flight Plan B puts these moves on one screen for your own trip, with your time left and the airline's page one tap away.

## How you get one

1. Before you fly
  ### Screenshot the confirmation email.
On Android, share it to Flight Plan B. On iPhone, open the app and pick the screenshot. It reads the flights and builds the trip. No screenshot? Three short screens of taps.
2. At the airport
  ### Your airport, one step at a time.
Check-in to gate, read out loud, with a "be done by" time on every step. Where the rental cars are and where your ride picks up, before you land. Plan B sits ready.
3. When it breaks
  ### Plan B tells you what to do.
What to say at the desk, the order to try things in, and the airline's own page in one tap. The airline makes the change. You walk up with the plan already on your screen.

## The screen you want when it breaks

Everything on one screen while a hundred people head for one gate agent, including what the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) says about your airport right now.

_Example Plan B screen with made-up numbers. 18 minutes to departure from DFW to Pensacola, with the seat 25C deplane time counted. An FAA ground stop at DFW for thunderstorms, checked 4:41 PM. Try these in order: same airline, later flight, then nearby airport plus a drive. Say this at the desk: re-tag my bag to the new flight and read me the new tag number. A button that opens the airline's page with the confirmation number copied._

Example screen. The numbers are made up.

## Free. No account.

Use these whether you ever pay me a dime or not.

## Questions people ask

**What is Flight Plan B?**

Flight Plan B is a web app for travelers. It talks you through every airport step, and gets you ready to ask first when a flight breaks. $15 a trip, no subscription.

**Which airlines does it work with?**

It is built for American, Delta, United, Southwest and Alaska. Other airlines get the airport guide. Flight Plan B is not affiliated with any airline.

**Does it rebook me?**

No. It tells you what to do and puts the airline's own page one tap away, with your confirmation number copied. The airline makes every change.

**Does it predict delays?**

No. I don't control airports or weather. It shows what the FAA says about your airports right now, and it gives you a plan for when things go sideways.

**How accurate is it?**

The 46 airport guides are built by hand from each airport's own website. Airport delays come from the FAA's own feed, with the time it was checked, and they cover the airport, not your one flight. Some text is written by AI, and those screens say so. Airports and airlines change things without notice, so the airline, the airport and the signs are the final word.

**When should I get it?**

Within 30 days of your last flight, before you leave home: the 30 days start when you pay. Not when you're already stranded. Setup is one screenshot of your confirmation email, and the airport guide works on every trip, good day or bad.

**Can I get a refund?**

If the unlock did not work on your phone, reply to your Stripe receipt email within 7 days of purchase and we will refund the full $15, no questions. After those 7 days, sales are final, because the product is delivered in full the moment it unlocks. If we shut it down permanently during your 30 days, we refund the pass. This is about the $15 pass only. A refund for a plane ticket comes from the airline, not from Flight Plan B.

**Which airports?**

46, built by hand from each airport's own website. Hubs and big airports: ATL, AUS, BNA, BOS, BUR, BWI, CLT, DAL, DAY, DCA, DEN, DFW, DTW, EWR, FLL, HNL, HOU, IAD, IAH, JFK, LAS, LAX, LGA, MCO, MDW, MIA, MSP, OAK, ORD, PHL, PHX, PNS, SAN, SEA, SFO, SJC, SLC, SMF, SNA and TPA. Gulf Coast regionals: DHN, ECP, GPT, MOB, TLH and VPS. Anywhere else, with a pass, the app builds a guide from that airport's own website and says so on screen; until then you get general airport steps.

**Is it in the App Store or Google Play?**

No. It opens in your phone's browser and installs to your home screen from there. Android: open the link in Chrome, then Add to Home screen. iPhone: open it in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
